HOW TO PREPARE

Refrain from using prescription Retin-A for at least 4-5 days prior to your appointment. Similarly, avoid potent exfoliating acids like glycolic acid for at least 2-3 days, including any 'at home' peel treatments. It's important to inform your esthetician about all medications you're currently taking. If you've undergone laser, botox, or filler treatments, wait at least 2 weeks before scheduling a facial service. Adhering to these guidelines will ensure that you receive the most effective and focused treatment on the day of your appointment.

WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT

Each person's skin reacts uniquely to facials, resulting in varied outcomes. Typically, most facials do not necessitate any downtime for recovery. During the facial process, such as extractions or facial massage, the skin might appear slightly pink temporarily, but this usually fades within a few hours.

We advise clients to take care of their skin following the facial by applying SPF daily, staying well-hydrated, and refraining from intense exercise for at least 24 hours.

HOW OFTEN

Typically, it's advised to schedule a facial every 4-6 weeks. This timeframe aligns with the natural cycle of skin cell turnover, which usually occurs every 28-40 days. As we grow older, this turnover rate tends to slow down. Regular visits to your esthetician for maintenance, prevention, and protection are essential to address these changes effectively.

AT HOME MAINTENANCE

After your facial treatment be sure to cleanse all makeup brushes and sponges and wash your pillowcases. Always apply SPF daily (every 2 hours) and stay well-hydrated.
